(in Italian, Gentile), Moses, a Jewish writer of Italy, was born at Trieste about 1663, and died at Venice in 1711. He is the author of מְלֶאכֶת מִחֲשֶׁבֶת , A' Philosophical Commentary On The Pentateuch (Venice, 17i0) : חֲנֻכִּת הִבִּיַת , or A Description And Explanation Of The Second Temple (ibid. 1696).
