kā´va Septuagint Ζωή , Zōḗ ): A transliteration of the Hebrew חוּה , ḥawwāh or ḥavvāh , which means "life giver" "living" and appears in our English versions as Eve ( Genesis 3:20 , see the King James Version margin).
