Chaseba ( 1Es 5:31 ). There is no corresponding name in the lists of Ezra and Nehemiah.

( Χασεβά ,Vulg. Caseba), a name among the list of the "servants of the Temple" ( 1 Esdras 5:31), which has nothing corresponding to it in Ezra (2:48) or Nehemiah (7:50), and is probably a mere corruption of that succeeding it — GAZERA (See Gazera) (q.v.).

kas´ē̇ - ba ( Χασεβά , Chasebá ): The name of a family of temple-servants in the list of those who returned from Babylon (1 Esdras 5:31). The name is not given in the parallel passages in Ezra and Nehemiah.
