named ( 1 Esdras 5:20), in connection with Ammidioi, as one of the (?) places from which 422 persons ("they of Chadias," Οἱ Χαδιασαί ) returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel; but the Hebrew lists ( Ezra 2:26; Nehemiah 7:30) do not contain the name.
