Cavaliere Giovanni Baglioni [1]

an eminent Italian painter, was. born at Rome in 1594, and studied under Francesco Marelli. He was employed in many considerable works at Rome during the pontificates of Clement VIII. and Paul V. His best work is the picture in St. Peter's of that apostle raising Tabitha from the dead.
