Binch Johannes [1]

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Herford, in Westphalia, in 1586. He studied at Helmstadt and Giessen, and died at Herford, Feb. 20, 1671, as senior minister, where he had occupied the pastorate for thirty- eight years. He wrote, Die gottliche Bussposaune in 250 Predigten: Catechismus Psalmodicous: Lapis Offensionis (Rom. ix) ex, Via Fidelium Remotus, (against which N.
