Jehu's captain, and formerly his fellow officer ( 2 Kings 9:25). He executed the concluding doom pronounced by Jehovah on Ahab's son's son ( 1 Kings 21:29), Jehoram, by casting his body into Naboth's plat, after Jehu had pierced him with an arrow.

Βαδεκάρ; Josephus, Βάδακρος ) , Jehu's "captain" ( שָׁלַשׁ ; Josephus, Τῆς Τρίτης Μοίρας Ἡγεμών , Ant. 9: 6, 3), originally his fellow-officer ( 2 Kings 9:25), who completed the sentence on Jehoram, son of Ahab, by casting his body into the field of Naboth after Jehu had transfixed him with an arrow.
