Bethtappua [1]
("house of the citron or apple".) A town in the hilly part of Judah ( Joshua 15:46; Joshua 15:53; 1 Chronicles 2:43, where Tappuah is the son of Hebron). Now Teffuh, five miles W. of Hebron. The terraces still are there, and olives, vines, and grain, but no apples or citrons.
