Besodun (Or Beston) John, D.D.

a learned English divine of the 15th century, was prior of the monastery of Carmelite friars at Lynn in Norfolk. It is probable that he studied first at Cambridge and then at Paris. He was sent as a delegate to the council held at Sienna, Italy, in 1424, under pope Martin V. He died at Lynn in 1428.
