( Σαβανναῖος v. r. Βανναίος , Vulg. Bannus ) , one of the "sons of Asom" that renounced their Gentile wives after the captivity ( 1 Esdras 9:33); apparently a corruption for ZABAD (See Zabad) (q.v.) of the genuine text ( Ezra 10:33).
