(Heb. with the article hab-Bakri', הבִּכְרַי ; Sept. omits, but some copies have Ὁ Βεχερί ; Vulg. Familia Becheritarum; Auth. Vers. "the Bachrites"), the family name of the descendants of BECHER (See Becher) (q.v.), the son of Ephraim ( Numbers 26:35). (See Beriah).
