Asahiah or Asaiah

1. Sent with Hilkiah to inquire of Jehovah concerning the book of the law found in the temple ( 2 Kings 22:12-14).

2. Four others ( 1 Chronicles 9:5;  1 Chronicles 4:36;  1 Chronicles 6:30;  1 Chronicles 15:6;  1 Chronicles 15:11).

Asahi'ah. (The Lord Hath Made). A servant of King Josiah, sent by him to seek information of Jehovah respecting the book of the law which Hilkiah found in the Temple,  2 Kings 22:12;  2 Kings 12:14, also called Asaiah .  2 Chronicles 34:20. (B.C. 641).
