(Heb. Abitub', אֲבַיטוּב , Father Of Goodness, i.e. Good; Sept. Ἀβιτώβ v. r. Ἀβιτούλ ), a Benjamite, first named of the two sons of Shaharaim by his second wife, Baara or Hodesh, in Moab ( 1 Chronicles 8:11). B.C. cir. 1612. (See Shaharaim).
