jek - ō̇ - nı̄´as ( Ἰεχονίας , Iechonı́as , the King James Version; Greek form of "Jechoniah," the Revised Version (British and American)):

(1) The altered form of Jehoiachin (Additions to  Esther 11:4;  Baruch 1:3,9;  Matthew 1:11 ,  Matthew 1:12 ). The last but one of the kings of Judah.

(2) The son of Zeelus (1 Esdras 8:92), called "Shecaniah" in  Ezra 10:2 .
