(Heb. Bidkar', בַּדְקִר , according to Gesenius, for בֶּןאּדְּקָר , Son Of Stabbing, i.e. Assassin; according to First, for עֶבֶדאּקָר , Servant [i.e. Inhabitant] Of the City; Sept. Βαδεκάρ; Josephus, Βάδακρος ) , Jehu's "captain" ( שָׁלַשׁ ; Josephus, Ὅ Τῆς Τρίτης Μοίρας Ἡγεμών , Ant. 9: 6, 3), originally his fellow-officer ( 2 Kings 9:25), who completed the sentence on Jehoram, son of Ahab, by casting his body into the field of Naboth after Jehu had transfixed him with an arrow.
