Andrea Camassel [1]

an Italian painter and engraver of the Roman school, was born at Brevagna, near Foligno, in 1601, and studied under Domenichino. He died in 1648. His best works are, The Assumption, in the Pantheon, and The Dead Christ, at the Cappucini; also The Triumph of Constantine, in St. John Laterani. See Spooner, Biog.
