a Piarist, was born in 1681, in Moravia. In 1695 he joined his order, was its general in 1724, and died as bishop of Raab, November 24, 1743. He wrote, עד אלו, i.e., teacher and witness (Frankfort, 1711; a work written in Hebrew for the conversion of the Jews, which he had formerly published in Latin at Vienna, 1709): — Die Psalmen Davids mit einer Erklarung und Phraseologie des Hebraischen Textes (Vienna, 1737).
