Robert Carrick [1]

a Scotch clergyman, studied at the Glasgow University, and was licensed to preach in 1713; became tutor in the family of Andrew Buchanan, provost of Glasgow, through whom he was called, in 1719, to the living at Houston, and ordained in 1720.
