DAISAN , 1Es 5:31 = Rezin , Ezra 2:48 , Nehemiah 7:50 . The form in 1 Es. is due to confusion of Heb. r and l .

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia [2]

dā´san , dā´i -san ( Δαισάν , Daisán ): Head of a family of temple servants (1 Esdras 5:3:1) called Rezin in Ezra 2:48; Nehemiah 7:50 , the interchange of "D" and "R" in Hebrew being not uncommon.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature [3]

(Δαισάν v. r. Δεσάν, Vulg. Desanon), the head of one of the families of temple-servants that returned from Babylon (1 Esdras v: 31); evidently a corruption ( ר being mistaken for ד ) for the REZIN (See Rezin) (q.v.) of the Hebrew texts (Ezra 2:48; Nehemiah 7:50).
