Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible [1]

ALBEIT . Albeit is a contraction for ‘all be it,’ and means ‘although it be.’ It occurs in Ezekiel 13:7 , Philippians 1:19 , and in the Apocrypha.

King James Dictionary [2]

ALBE'IT, This is supposed to be a compound of all, be and it, and is equivalent to admit, or grant it all.

Be it so admit all that although notwithstanding.

Whereas ye say, the Lord saith it, albeit I have not spoken. Ezekiel 8 .

This word is not antiquated.

Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words [3]

(Strong'S #2443 — Conjunction — hina — hin'-ah )

a conjunction, meaning "that," and so rendered in Philemon 1:19 , RV, for AV, "albeit."

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia [4]

ôl -bē´it ( ἵνα μὴ , hı́na mḗ  ; literally, "lest"): Occurs in a paraphrase rather than as a translation of a clause in Philippians 1:19 the King James Version. The thought is: "although" or "albeit" (synonym of "although") "I might say," etc. This the Revised Version (British and American) translates with intense literalness: "that I say not".
