ACCOM'PLISH, L. compleo, to complete. See Complete.
1. To complete to finish entirely.
That He would accomplish seventy years in the desolation of Jerusalem. Daniel 9
2. To execute as to accomplish a vow, wrath or fury. Leviticus 13,20 .
3. To gain to obtain or effect by successful exertions as to accomplish a purpose. Proverbs 13 .
4. To fulfil or bring to pass as, to accomplish a prophecy.
This that is written must yet be accomplished in me. Luke 22 .
5. To furnish with qualities which serve to render the mind or body complete, as with valuable endowments and elegant manners.

a -kom´plish : Richly represented in the Old Testament by seven Hebrew synonyms and in the New Testament by five Greek (the King James Version); signifying in Hebrew (1) "to complete" ( Lamentations 4:11 ); (2) "to fulfill" ( Daniel 9:2 ); (3) "to execute" ( 1 Kings 5:9 ); (4) "to set apart" i.e. "consecrate" ( Leviticus 22:21 ); (5) "to establish" ( Jeremiah 44:25 the King James Version); (6) "to have pleasure in" ( Job 14:6 ); (7) "to perfect" ( Psalm 64:6 ); in Greek (1) "to finish" ( Acts 21:5 ); (2) "to bring to an end" ( Hebrews 9:6 ); (3) "to be fulfilled" ( Luke 2:6 ); (4) "to fill out" ( Luke 9:31 ); (5) "to complete" ( Luke 12:50 ).
