Vers. for the following words: לִהִב, la'hab, a flame, applied to the glittering point of a spear ( Job 39:23) or sword ( Nahum 3:3), and hence to the "blade" of a dagger, Judges 3:22; שַׁכְמָה, shikmah', the " shoulder-blade," Job 31:22; χόρτος, grass as growing for provender, hence the tender " blade" of cereals, Matthew 13:26; Mark 4:28.
