Jokdeim [1]

(Heb. Yokdedm', יָקְדְעָם , burning of the people; Sept. Ιεκδαάμ,Vulg. Jucadam) , a town in the mountains of Judah, mentioned between Jezreel and Zanoah ( Joshua 15:56). The associated names indicate a locality in the district southeast of Hebron, perhaps at the ruined site marked as ed- Dar on Van de Velde's Map, just north of Jebel Ziph.
