han´a - thon ( חנּתון , ḥannāthōn ): A city on the northern boundary of Zebulun (  Joshua 19:14 ). It is probably identical with Kefar Hananyah, which the Mishna gives as marking the northern limit of lower Galilee (Neubauer, Géog. du Talmud , 179). It is represented by the modern Kefr ‛Anān , about 3 miles Southeast of er - Rāmeh .

(Heb. Channmathonm', חִנָּתוֹן, graciously Regarded; Sept. Ἀνναθών, v. Ε᾿νναθωθ and Ἀμώθ ), a place on the northern boundary of Zebulon, apparently about midway between the Sea of Galilee and the valley of Jiphthah-El ( Joshua 19:14); probably among the range of Jebel Jermik, not far from el-Mughar.
