Mushi', מוּשַׁי, once [1 Chronicles 6:19] מֻשַׁי , receding; Sept. ῾Ομουσεί, ὁ Μουσίμ, Ο᾿μουσί), the second of the two sons of Merari, son of Levi (Exodus 6:19; Numbers 3:20; 1 Chronicles 6:19; 1 Chronicles 6:47; 1 Chronicles 23:21; 1 Chronicles 24:26); he had three sons (1 Chronicles 23:23; 1 Chronicles 24:30), whose descendants were called in common MUSHITES (Numbers 3:33; Numbers 26:58).
