Stephen Thurston [1]
a Congregational minister, was born at Sedgewick, Maine, December 22, 1797. He graduated from Bangor Theological Seminary in 1825, became pastor at Searsport (then Prospect), Maine, in 1826, was secretary of the Maine Missionary Society from 1864 to 1876, and died May 27, 1884.
