Claude (Dabbeville), Clemnent Foullon
(generally known under the name of le Pere),a French missionary and historian, of the Capuchin order, was one of the four who went, in 1612, with Razilly, lieutenant-general of the king, to found an institution in Brazil. After his mission had been accomplished, he went back to France to get help, but his age did not allow him to return to Brazil. He died at Paris in 1632, after having founded the convent of the Capuchins at Abbeville.
