Originally a Lutheran, he afterwards adopted the principles of Socinus, and went to Cracow, in Poland, in 1612, where he became a preacher; he then was appointed professor of Greek, and afterwards rector of the university at that place. He died in 1633. His works are collected in [[Opera]] omnia exeqetica, didactiea, et polenzica, magnam, partem hactenzus inedita (Irenopoli. 1656, 4 vols. in 3); Touching one God (trans.
