1. The head of one of the families of "Solomon's servants" who returned from the captivity with Zerubbabel, according to 1 Esdras 5:34; but the Heb. lists (Ezra 2:57; Nehemiah 7:59) have no corresponding name.
2. The Jewish month SHEBAT (See Shebat) (q.v.) (1 Maccabees 16:14).
