Βασουρώθ ; Josephus Βοσκέθ , Ant. 10: 4, 1), a town "in the plain" of Judah, in the vicinity of Lachish and Eglon ( Joshua 15:39)it was the native place of Adaiah, the maternal grandfather of King Josiah ( 2 Kings 22:1, where it is Anglicized 'Boscath").
