He belonged to the Order of the Jesuits, and published Historia maravillosa de S. Juan- Baptista (Salamanca, 1574, 4to): — La Monarquia Ecclesiastica, o Historia Universal del Mundo (ibid. 1588, 14 vols. fol.; Barcelona, 1594, 1620); Agricultura Christiana que contiene 35, dialogos familiares (ibid. 1589, 2 vols. fol.).
