Races . The following is a list of the races mentioned in the Bible, so far as they are Identified. They are classified according to modern ethnological principles. In Genesis 10:1-32 , cities are frequently classed as tribes or patriarchal personages.
I. Aryans (sons of Japheth, Genesis 10:1-32 ). 1. Greeks ( Romans 1:14 etc.). 2. Javan (Ionian Greeks). 3. Parthians ( Acts 2:9 ). 4. Persians ( Esther 1:19 etc.). 5. Medes (Madai). 6. Romans ( John 11:48 etc.).
