bā´yith ( בּית , bayith ; the King James Version Bajith , "house" ( Isaiah 15:2 )): A town in the country of Moab. The reading of the Revised Version, margin, "Bayith and Dibon are gone up to the high places to weep," seems to be the proper rendering of this passage.
