It is probably identical with Kefar Hananyah, which the Mishna gives as marking the northern limit of lower Galilee (Neubauer, Géog. du Talmud , 179). It is represented by the modern Kefr ‛Anān , about 3 miles Southeast of er - Rāmeh .
