At the age of thirty he left his native country, where he possessed a rich priory, and in 1647 entered at Port [[Royal]] des Champs, near Paris. On the suppression of Port Royal in 1662, he established himself in a house on the Faubourg St. Anthony, where he died, in 1668. He wrote [[Placet]] pour les Abbesses, Prieures et Religieuses de Port Royal, contre M. Archeveque de [[Paris]] (Paris, 1664). Baudry (Diasson), Antoine

a French Jansenist theologian, was a native of Poitou. At the age of thirty he left his native country, where he possessed a rich priory, and in 1647 entered at Port Royal des Champs, near Paris. On the suppression of Port Royal in 1662, he established himself in a house on the Faubourg St. Anthony, where he died, in 1668.
