Zathoes , 1Es 8:32 , probably stands for Zattu . The name does not appear in the Heb. of the corresponding passage Ezra 8:3 , to be corrected from 1 Es. so as to run ‘Of the sons of Zattu, Shecaniah the son of Jahaziel.’
