ALBEIT . Albeit is a contraction for ‘all be it,’ and means ‘although it be.’ It occurs in Ezekiel 13:7 , Philippians 1:19 , and in the Apocrypha.
King James Dictionary [2]
ALBE'IT, This is supposed to be a compound of all, be and it, and is equivalent to admit, or grant it all.
Be it so admit all that although notwithstanding.
