'To strip off, to skin.' Applied to skinning the animals for the sacrifices.  Leviticus 1:6;  2 Chronicles 29:34;  2 Chronicles 35:11 . Also used metaphorically for the ill-treatment of the Israelites by their rulers.  Micah 3:3 .
