<p> in Norse mythology, is the golden palace in the kingdom of [[Odin]] where all heroes slain in battle assembled. Everything known by [[Northern]] heroes as luck and blessedness was to be found in Walhalla. Hermode and [[Braga]] received them in the Glasor forest, bearing gold leaves, which led the way to the palace reaching up to heaven. In this palace were waiting the most ravishing, blooming maidens — the Walkirren — where also was spread for them a table of bacchanalian abundance.
