1: κλείω (Strong'S #2808 — Verb — kleio — kli'-o )

is used (a) of things material,  Matthew 6:6;  25:10;  Luke 11:7;  John 20:19,26;  Acts 5:23;  21:30;  Revelation 20:3; figuratively,  Revelation 21:25; (b) metaphorically, of the Kingdom of heaven,  Matthew 23:13; of heaven, with consequences of famine,  Luke 4:25;  Revelation 11:6; of compassion,  1 John 3:17 , Rv (Av, "bowels of compassion"); of the blessings accuring from the promises of God regarding David,  Revelation 3:7; of a door for testimony,  Revelation 3:8 .

2: ἀποκλείω (Strong'S #608 — Verb — apokleio — ap-ok-li'-o )

"to shut fast" (apo, away from, and No. 1), is used in  Luke 13:25 , expressing the impossibility of entrance after the closing.

3: κατακλείω (Strong'S #2623 — Verb — katakleio — kat-ak-li'-o )

lit., "to shut down" (the kata has, however, an intensive use), signifies "to shut up in confinement,"  Luke 3:20;  Acts 26:10 . In the Sept.,  Jeremiah 32:3 .

4: συγκλείω (Strong'S #4788 — Verb — sunkleio — soong-kli'-o )
