Giovanni Maria Capalla [1]
a Dominican of Saluzzo, lived in the 16th century, and taught sacred - literature at Faenza and Bologna, and was, made inquisitor general at Cremona. He died Nov. 2, 1596, leaving, Scintilla della Fiamma Innossia, etc.: — Art Salutis Humance, being a Commentary on the Passion of our Lord (Venice, 1606, fol.) :-De Cena (ibid. 1604).
