(1): An umbelliferous Australian flower (Actinotus helianthi), often erroneously thought to be composite. The involucre looks as if cut out of white flannel.

(2): A Brazilian apocynaceous vine (Macrosiphonia longiflora) having woolly leaves.

(3): The common mullein.
