<p> (nee Cabot), a poetess, wife of Dr. [[Charles]] T.C. Follen (q.v.), was born in Boston, August 15, 1787. She was married in 1828, and died at Brookline, Massachusetts, Jan. 26, 1860. Besides several works in prose, she published Poems (1839), some of which became quite popular. See Duyckinck, Cyclop. of Amer. Literature, 1:989. </p>
