Lambs. Lambs are the young of sheep, but originally included also the young of goats. They formed an important part of almost every sacrifice.  Exodus 29:38-41;  Numbers 28:9;  Numbers 28:11;  Numbers 29:2;  Numbers 29:13-40 etc. [On the Paschal Lamb , see Passover . ]
