In 1701 he went to Leyden, and in 1702 published his Seven Dissertations on the Hilcoth Biccurim. He was chosen [[Hebrew]] professor at [[Zurich]] on September 18 of the same year. In 1705 he was appointed to teach sacred and profane history, and in 1725 was made professor of theology. He died July 14, 1737. His works are very numerous.
