hū´sham ( חשׁם , ḥushām , Genesis 36:34; חוּשם , ḥūshām , 1 Chronicles 1:45-46 , "alert"): According to the former reference, Husham was one of the kings of Edom, and according to the latter he was "of the land of the Temanites" and (1 Chronicles 1:35 f) descended from Esau.

Ἀσώμ and Ἀσόμ ), a Temanite, successor of Jobab and predecessor of Bedad among the native princes of Mount Seir before the usurpation of the Edomites (Genesis 36:34-35; 1 Chronicles 1:45). B.C. long ante 1093, and probably ante 1618.
