Hor Hagidgad [1]

A desert stage in Israel's journey ( Numbers 33:32). Gudgodah in  Deuteronomy 10:7; "the cavern" or else "the summit" of Gidgad, according as the first letter in Hebrew is "ch" ([C]Ηet ( ח )) (as in the Received Text and Syriac) or "h" (as Septuagint and Vulgate and Samaritan text read). The Arabic jedjad means a hard level tract such as the summit of a mountain range would be.
