(or rather, as the best editions of the Bible now punctuate it, Help Meet for him, עֶזֶר כְּנֶגְדּוֹ , E'Zer, Ke-Negdo', A Help As His Counterpart, i.e. an aid suitable and supplementary to him), a delicate and beautiful designation of a wife ( Genesis 2:18-20), which exactly expresses her relation.
