esh´tā̇ - ol - ı̄ts , esh - ta - ū´lı̄ts ( האשׁתּאלי , hā'eshtā'ulı̄ , literally, "the Eshtaolite"; the King James Version Eshtaulites ): Inhabitants of Eshtaol, named among the descendants of Shobal, the son of Caleb ( 1 Chronicles 2:53 ).
