dam - a - sēnz ´, dam´a - sēnz τὴν πόλιν Δαμασκηνῶν , tḗn pólin Damaskēnō̇n , "the city of the Damascenes"): The inhabitants of Damascus under Aretas the Arabian are so called ( 2 Corinthians 11:32 ).
